Halo MCC broken. Called support apparently not policy to refund broken games.

I bought Halo MCC on monday night. As soon as I tried it I was having problems. Could not find a match and if I did got booted within seconds, could not party with friends, constant booting and game freezing. So I called support a couple days later after
I gave them ample time to fix these issues. The person I got connected to clearly did bot understand the issue as he was leading me through nonsense trpuble shooting tips. All I wanted was a refund because I paid 80 dollars for a game that does not work. They
refused me and said all they can do is troubleshoot...goodbye after ten years xbox

Halo mcc question

ITs not a cloud issue its the Game. HALO MCC is broken. I only bought HALO MCC for the single player cause im not fan of the MP which is broken. 4 weeks and my GS still hasnt unlocked. I just hope what MS/343 is going to offer for dealing with this broken
game is worth it.

 

Halo Finally Fixed

So is Halo mcc any good? Im thinking of getting an XB1 and I loved the halo games on 360, but all I hear about halo mcc is that it's broke!

is it broke or is it now just randomly playing up? is single player effected?

 

343 is aware of the issues with the game and are working on it. They have already released a small update on the 14th and have a larger update scheduled to address these issues next week.

Please be patient. They are working to fix the issues with the game and matchmaking.

 

Please be patient you sold me a game at full price that was not ready yet. Should give me half my noney back at the very least

 

It's important to remember, Deatman, that "We" didn't actually sell you anything, we're just a community here for help insomuch as we're able to do so. Lashing out at folks who are here to help is not usually the best course of action.

Onyx is correct, the matchmaking issues are well known, and 343 is already in the process of releasing updates (2 so far) which are in preparation for major fixes that should be coming this week. Please hang in there for just a bit longer, and you'll be
enjoying Halo goodness in a short while. For what it's worth, I doubt there will be anyone offering to give your money back, but many if not most game companies do offer some sort of in-game content to offset any major launch issues like this one. I don't
know if that will apply here, but it wouldn't surprise me.

 

everyone should have done what I did return it to game stop and at least get a $40 credit back, im sure thats probably down to a $15 or $20 credit now, if they ever do get things fixed then maybe i will revisit the game used when it drops to $10 and im not
even going to give halo 5 the time of day at this point.

 

You paid $60 for a game and are satisfied with a $40 credit. If I was the developer of the game, I should make all my games like that. $20 profit for every customer is good. In my case I am demanding either adequate compensation or a full refund to original
payment method. No BS credit or partial credit.

 

I actually only paid 50, so im only out $10 there are plenty of other games available to play so my halo MCC is right where it belongs on the gamestop used shelf loosing value by the day! its no longer my problem the rest of you have fun waiting for updates
that may never come or ever work right

 

Ok....enough is enough....3 weeks since launch.. game is still broken. Microsoft still refuses me a refund...this is absolute robbery. They came out with two "patches" both actually made the experience worse. I want my money back for halo mcc. I know me
and many of our friends will be trading our xboxs for playstations this holiday season and I will make sure to encourage people to go with playstation instead of xbox this comming christmas.
