Halo MCC Achievements won't unlock

I have 11 achievements on the MCC, all unlocked on December 25 and 26th, that have all failed to unlock. Each is stuck at "Done...Unlocking" in the achievements app. I had heard about other players having this problem, but I thought it was addressed in the
last update. Is there any way to fix this?

For the record, here are the achievements that are stuck. They are all tied to Halo 4 campaign progression, and then to overall MCC campaign progression as well.

Halo MCC achievements stuck at "Done! Unlocking..." since launch

The achievement "window shopping" on Halo MCC won't unlock for me. It has been stuck on 'done! Unlocking...' for 5 days now. Any help, much appreciated

Should I install Halo MCC now or after Updates? I'm kinda worried if it will skip story missions for me at the moment and won't save my game or unlock achievements.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues unlocking achievements in the MCC. I've run into this issue several times myself.

You can try completing the achievements again and they may unlock. I know that has fixed the issues for some people.

I've also seen it where the achievement just unlocks randomly without rhyme or reason.

Part of the issue comes from how the achievements are validated by the system. With the recent Xbox Live issues, the achievements may experience a delay.

"In some instances, you may meet the requirements to unlock an achievement but not immediately receive a notice or update to your gamerscore. The Xbox Live service validates the unlocking of achievements and, though rare, delays can occur. Don’t worry –
your progress has been recorded and the achievement will be awarded shortly, usually in less than 24 hours."

Normally I would trust that but this is the Master Chief collection, where the "Done Unlocking" state is a known, common glitch. So I don't really think waiting is good enough, and others have reported that re-doing the achievements doesn't work(which is
hardly a good solution either in the first place).

 

Actually waiting is good enough and only thing to do, and doing them again rarely works. I've just got two "Done Unlocking" yesterday while my girlfriend on her own Xbox One got them fine. Just gotta wait until the servers are refreshed and working fine
again. It may take several days to even weeks but it will eventually unlock, just gotta keep checking. There's no other way to fix this, it happens to most games, just been happening a lot to Halo MCC.

 

Unfortunately a lot of that is server side and 343i's responsibility. If redoing it doesn't work, then you'll just have to wait for them to unlock.

They will unlock eventually.

 

I just got one yesterday on a halo 3 terminal for mcc

I redid it twice so iam going to wait it out if there is no better way

Unfortunatlye that is the only option It is a known bug, and seems to be especially bad with Halo MCC. The good news is that they WILL unlock, but the bad news is that they might just take a while to do so.

I've had it happen in another game, and it just popped randomly a few days later while playing a totally different game. Obviously not as bad as your situation, but there is a small light at the end of the tunnel and i know the team is hard at work fixing
the issue moving forward
