Halo MC Collection for PC

After an update Halo MC collection uninstalled itself from my PC (yes, really), and have not been able to reinstall because it always throws an error that says to install the base game package before DLC. Every time I seek help with these errors I get the same list of boiler plate solutions as if I am a 12 year old child who hasn't used a PC before.

Hard drive has plenty of space

Windows is updated

Reset the store app

Reset the xbox app

Reset the games live service

Still get error x0800474 now when I try to download.

I really don't see the reason to have a gamepass sub for my kids when microsoft does such a terrible job delivering its content. From what I've read Halo MC collection runs great with Steam and has no update problems.

Thanks for the reply but I just figured it out via Youtube. I tried what you said but there wasn't anything available to download. When I did download Halo, I changed the install drive to D because my boot drive isn't that large. However, all of the DLC was installed to C drive. I went in to Apps in settings and moved all of the DLC to D drive. Now, everything works the way it's supposed to!

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store in the Windows bar, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the game too.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Login with your account again in both apps

5. Open the Microsoft Store, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner ''download and updates'' and click on ''get updates'' and update everything. After these steps try again.

If the problem persists it is necessary to contact the game developer. Wait 24 hours after installing the content again before contacting the developer.

I gave up with gamepass PC version a while ago, it is trash, steam is way better and i have halo on there and it works perfect, even the epic store is better.
