This release will be amazing and hopefully set the bar for other games to accomplish. I'd say its even better than full backwards compatibility.

Once again, if you read my post properly, you will notice that I said collectively 32 years.

Halo CE 13 years, Halo 2
10 years, Halo 3 7 years 2 months, Halo 4 2 years.

13+10+7+2=32

...and that's exactly why I'm not sure it's as funny as the OP thinks it is. There are plenty of people who will read a thread title and decide not to open the thread itself. Because of threads like this, those people could be given erroneous information
and not even realize it. It's a bad joke.

From a father,,, congrats to the ones with babies on the way, to N7, you sir, in the nicest possible way, are mean, I nearly exploded when I saw your thread title, I was thinking it would be delayed to 2015 lol,

 

The Halo collection is basically a love letter from MS to their first biggest successful franchise & its fans.

This collection raises the bar on what should be done from generation to generation if we don't get full Backwards compatibility.

I will easily take this type of collection over B/C because it is remastered into 1 package.

Leave it to the Halo franchise to set bars high each generation since its been around.

 

Halo came out in 2001. 13 years later.... They should have let it rest after Bungie stoped.

 

Worldwide release dates (usually a Tuesday to coincide with our neighbours across the pond) are generally there for AAA games to provent unfair online advantages or storyline spoilers. Given that all of these games came out anywhere between 2 and 13 years
ago, I don't think spoilers will be too much of an issue. Online perhaps but 3 days won't make much difference at all and dedicated servers generally means you'll be playing with people from the same region anyway.

 

I check the release date in France (Europe),it's the same as North America,November 11th 2014....

Worldwide release date....

 

@ Boston Why stop after bungie? Myself being a long time halo fan am absolutely looking forward to Halo MC Collection as are thousands of others. It also gives newcomers to the scene a chance to experience halo for the first time like never before. All
on one disc. Leading up to Halo 5 which will without a doubt be an awesome game.
