Halo matchmaking broken.

The matchmaking for halo is not working.



It is just searching forever to get in a game.



Its as though i'm the only person who owns the game.



Cod aw on the other hand worked perfectly the minute the game launched.



Not a good advertisement for xbox when noone can get in a game on its flagship title.



Its starting to look like Halo MC is xboxes equivelent of ps4 Driveclub as noone can get in a game on that either.

Trouble finding a match

Sir you are in the same place I am, you bought the game (I bought an Xbox One for this reason only) and I am sorry to inform you that the game is 100% broken and matchmaking isn't happening.

Please take your time creating Halo 5: Guardians don't publish it in the condition you did Halo MCC broken Single Player & Matchmaking.

 

There is a service alert up at the moment concerning Halo matchmaking so they are aware off the issue & it is being worked on.

 

Microsoft still has an issue with Destiny what makes you think HMCC will be any different? waste of money on both these games and a waste of money for Xbox live

 

Never had a problem with Destiny, "oh pig" what issue do you see? and Microsoft have confirmed an issue with Halo and are working on it.

Most games have problems at launch regardless of platform.

PC - SimCity, Diablo III, Half-Life 2

PS4 - Driveclub and Destiny

Xbox One - Halo and Destiny

It isn't so much there are problems, it is how quickly they get resolved and playable again.

 

The service alert has gone now. But the game is not fixed.

What's going on?

Are MS seriously expecting us to have to wait at least 10 minutes between games?

 

I am having the same problem and so is my friend I normally play halo with. I played in about two game over a week ago and now this update came out and its even worse. I cannot connect to one game. COD works perfectly.

 

Me too, I have not been able to play Halo 4 online for over 2 weeks now. After matchmaking and choice of gametype has finished it just will not load the game. I can see others dropping out a lot more too so i know it isnt just me.

Xbox support got me to clear cache and delete and reinstall profile and I checked my (correct) open ports but this hasnt helped, still cannot load. They then asked me to talk to Bunjie and stated it wasn't their fault and had nothing to do with current update
issues?!

Anyone got any ideas or having same problem?

Yes I still have the same issues.The game is totally broken. I think it happens to everyone although some are worse effected than others.

I find even after the recent updates the game still takes way too long to get in a game.

Personally I've now given up with Halo and won't be buying Halo 5 Guardians when it is out. After seeing how the mastercheif collection has been a total disaster due to the server issues I have no faith that 343 industries can create a game with working
multiplayer.

I would also like to point out that Bungie has absolutely nothing to do with this game so don't know why MS support would blame them.

The fault lies entirely with 343 industries who are owned by Microsoft. They are the developers.

 

Lol really, You guys been living under a rock? matchmaking has been broken since launch. I've been able to play about 4 matches since Nov 11.

 

Actually I just now got my first update for MCC, I belive others have had multiple updates but this is the first one I have gotten. Sadly its stuck on 47% it says all multiplayer games at 100% but Halo 2 anniversary is stuck at 13.0% and I cant even try
to get into any multiplayer match.
