HALO Masterchief isn't downloading from XBOX marketplace

I just pre-purchased Halo Masterchief and it has been stuck at 4% today, after downloading it overnight its status was 23%. My internet is kinda slow, but I do not understand how it goes from 23% to 4% for a couple of hours now. I know its a huge game,
just want an explanation.

Halo 3 ODST is an add-on for Halo Masterchief Collection, not an individual game. So you would need the Masterchief Collection in order to play it.

Sorry to hear it. It took two nights for mine to completely download.

Please try heading to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray then click on Clear Persistent Storage three times and hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

That helped speed things up for my download on the second night.

 

Mine keeps downloading to 100% and then it starts over a couple hours later

 

I've been having issues downloading this game for the last 4 days. Was up to 80% at one point, then watched it drop to 32, then down to 16 and now it's stuck at 4%. Haven't had problems with any other games (yet), so hopefully it'll sort itself before launch.
I'll just leave my box alone for a few days so it doesn't get distracted and drop the percent again.

 

I would cancel the download and start again after doing a full power cycle of the console with the power cable unplugged for 5 minutes.

Sometimes downloads are like that on the Xbox One though. It took 5 attempts over a 3 day period to install Need for Speed Rivals from EA Access, but the 45gb game plus 20gb patch for the Master Chief Collection installed without a problem in about 9 hours.
It seems to be a bit random sometimes.
