Halo 3 ODST is an add-on for Halo Masterchief Collection, not an individual game. So you would need the Masterchief Collection in order to play it.

I'm in for a real treat....I never played Halo 1, 2 or 3. This will be an all new Multiplayer experience and 4 games worth of coop campaign!

 

For those who have never experienced Master Chief it's a bonus i guess for people like me and the rest it's recycle with a price tag.

 

^Except its recycling many of us wanted and its price tag is a steal for the amount of content.

 

You guess wrong then because the 'rest' also want to get it. It's great value for what you get. Publishers should take notes on how to do a remaster the right way. Now just give me remasters of KOTOR 1-2 and the Mass Effect trilogy.

Getting it for my birthday..

 

For those gamers of which Halo played a big part in your Xbox experience for years from 1,2,3 i joined in 2009 almost 6 years ago and my first game was halo3. It became my favourite game so much that i never played other games at all for the first 3 years.
Then halo3 was slowly dying out. It came to a stage where you'd spend 30 minutes searching on your 50 in swat or snipersand so on. The newest generation halo fans from reach or 4 can't really appreciaate 2 and 3 for beingthe most competetive out of all the
halo games and always will be. Aside from thatfor me, to have the ability to experience to experience halo3 all over again feels just like i've won £999999999999. If Wild was a gears fan and they brought those to the one he'd probably be on cloud9000.alot
of people including me would jump at the chance to have 2 and 3 revamped with fast searches. Granted it probably isn't your primary taste in a game so why post a negative reply? Not getting it that's cool, go back to reach and play everything and anything
all things Social. but you know legacy halo multiplayers like meand others ill buy it regardless right? Lol try show a little respect
