    Halo Master Chief Collection no longer in my downloads


    Way back in 2015-2016 when I first got my Xbox it came with the Master Chief Collection as part of a promotion. I put the code in that was included with my Xbox and the game worked fine. I uninstalled the game at one point to free up space but recently when I wanted to play MCC again I couldn’t find it in my downloads, not in all games, not even in the hidden section. When I went to search for MCC on the Xbox store to reinstall it, the store page said I needed to buy the game again. I know the game was installed on my Xbox but perhaps the additions of Halo Reach and Halo 3 ODST in recent years technically make my older version of MCC different and for that reason I can’t find it. I do not wish to pay for a game I already owned and I just want to enjoy Halo again before Halo Infinite comes out. If there is any way that the Master Chief Collection could be added back to my account or if there is something I can do besides restarting my console or signing out and signing in again that would allow me to install the game again it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.
