Halo: Master Chief Collection bit of a let down?

Campaign side of things everything is peachy, love the nostalgia and the original Halo is the one I started playing first in this collection. Having completed Halo 4 on 360 I'm not really planning on playing that anytime soon, worst of them all IMO.

Ignoring the matchmaking issues for online I want to share what else annoys me about how lazy the multiplayer has been implemented.

I have a Sony bravia TV with low input lag but I feel slow controller response across the entire game, single player too. Also there is a huge deadzone with Xbone sticks so accuracy is worse compared to the 360 controller.

I thought when buying the game I could pick any Halo I wanted with full online intact, choose a match type then find players. NOPE, you need to find players first then hope your game and match type is selected by the majority.

Even fans of Halo 4 will only get to play that game on big team battle AND if it gets enough votes, utter stupid. The pick of online is Halo 2 anniversary but that only has 6 maps. Just feels like this game should of had another 6 months in development and
I am nothing but a beta tester. I expect this from Ubisoft or EA but not a first party.

The game is excellent value for money!

I would of been happy with just the campaigns the multiplayer is a bonus, I will be playing it over the weekend since they have fixed the issues now.

 

How do I do online campaign co-op? Is it invite only or can you search for random players?

 

Im kind of let down by how halo 2 was the only game the get graphics improvement. After doing halo 2 then going to halo 3 it looks bad lol.
