Halo Infinite update killed Xbox Series X

Tried to update Halo Infinite on Xbox Series X. Stuck in phase of "ready to start". Says "will take a few minutes" then says it's broken and I should try the help button. Wont uninstall, wont delete. Would like to back up all other games like CoD to external drive but being prevented from doing ANY moves, transfers, etc. because the corrupt Halo Infinite update won't leave the queue. So it's basically locked me up. Suggestions on how to clear it back up games so I can nuke this box and start over? Would not like to lose all CoD DMZ progress, I'm assuming it's all saved locally? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!
