Halo Infinite unable to connect to lobby service

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with unable to connect to lobby service. We will find some necessary options that we can provide on a timely manner.



First and foremost. I would recommend checking your internet connection to ensure that it is stable and strong enough to support online gaming. You can do this by running a network test on your Xbox or PC. To do this on Xbox, go to:

• Settings > Network > Network settings > Test network connection. On PC, you can use the built-in Windows Network Diagnostics tool.
  

• If there are no server issues, you can try resetting your network hardware, such as your modem and router. To do this, simply unplug them from the power source for about 30 seconds, then plug them back in and wait for them to fully restart.
  

If none of the above step's work, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. This can help to fix any corrupted game files that may be causing the issue. To do this, go to your:

• Steam or Xbox Game Pass library, find Halo Infinite, and select Uninstall. Once the game is uninstalled, reinstall it and try connecting to the multiplayer lobby service again.
  

Check your NAT TYPE: Your NAT type can affect you ability to connect to other players in online games. You can check your NAT type and try to follow these steps.

• For Windows 10: Go to PC Settings> Gaming > Xbox Network and check the NAT Type
  

For Windows 11: Install the Xbox Console Companion app from the Microsoft Store> launch it , go to SETTINGS and look for the Network tab. Look for NAT type and any error message/code that you will see.

Disable VPN or Proxy: If you are using a VPN or Proxy. Try disabling and see if that helps.

Disable 3rd party anti-virus: Double check if you do have any 3rd party anti-virus since sometimes it does as well block some features or processes on your end.

There is a possibility that the issue you are encountering is related to Xbox Network or game server issue. In your isolated case, we’d like to know more about it in details so that we can provide a more accurate resolution for you. To start, please provide us information/answer on the following questions:

1. Where did you install this Halo Infinite, from Microsoft Store or Xbox app or another storefront?
   
2. May we ask for a screenshot of the issue? Please conceal your personal information like gamertag or username.
   
3. Is this the only game you are having issues with connection to service?
   
4. What is that status of your Xbox Network? Please provide the NAT Type and any error message/code you will see. Since you have posted this issue on Xbox on Windows, please see the steps below how to check Xbox Network:
   
   • For Windows 10:
     
     • PC Settings > Gaming > Xbox Network and check the NAT Type.
       
     • Look for NAT Type and error message/code.
       
     • Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
       
   • For Windows 11: Install Xbox Console Companion app from Microsoft Store (click here)
     
     • Launch Xbox Console Companion app.
       
     • Go to Settings and select Network tab.
       
     • Look for NAT Type and error message/code.
       
     • Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
       
5. Do you recall installing any antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer in your computer?

I attempted all these options and continue to get the same error message. I tried uninstalling game from both and reinstalling from both with no fix to the issue
