Halo Infinite turns off console

There was no fix I had to send mine in to get be repaired they sent me a brand new unit. It doesn't matter if you play off the CD or not that really has nothing to do with it. You gonna have to send it in they know what's wrong.

Has there been any updates on this issue. I'm having the same problem. And I can play for only a hour and the screen goes green and shuts the whole system down.

Will this happen if I buy the the CD?

Does the issue happen with all games or just the one? If it is just Halo, then I don't think it's worth losing the console over, issues like that are often fixed with with an update/patch to the game.

I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

Thank you I will definitely try that. Halo is the only 4K game I have it does not do it with master chief but I was wondering if that was because it was in 1080 and not making the unit work as hard. And you're right I do not want to lose my console. Thank you

Wait a sec. The fix here is that we need to send in the device? How long is the standard warranty, one year?

This is the only game that does a random shut down. Middle of a game, while waiting in lobby, etc. So bizarre.
