Halo Infinite multiplayer lobby not connecting on Xbox Series X

I understand that you are having trouble on Halo Infinite can't play online, and I understand your confusion.

It sounds frustrating to be stuck on the connecting screen in Halo Infinite multiplayer, especially when your internet connection seems fine and the game is up to date. Here are some troubleshooting steps that could help resolve the issue on your Xbox Series X:

Check your online privacy settings

Please visit Xbox Official Site: Consoles, Games, and Community | Xbox and login with your account, then click your gamer picture on the top right corner and click three dots, then you should able to see Xbox settings, open it, and make sure options in the following pictures are set to Allow





Test Your Network Connection

Even though you've already checked your internet, it's worth running a network connection test on your Xbox Series X to confirm everything is working properly.

• Go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Test Network Connection. This will help ensure that your Xbox is properly connected to the internet.
  

• Additionally, you can test the NAT Type under Advanced Settings. A Strict NAT Type can cause connectivity issues in multiplayer games. Ideally, it should be Open or Moderate.
  

Clear Cache and Power Cycle the Console

A soft reset of the console might help with connectivity issues:

• Turn off your Xbox Series X completely.
  

• Unplug the power cable for at least 10 seconds.
  

• Plug it back in, then power it back on.
  

This will clear any temporary data that might be interfering with the game.

Open NAT for Better Multiplayer Connection

If your NAT Type is Strict or Moderate, it can prevent you from connecting to multiplayer lobbies. You might need to configure your router settings to open your NAT.

• Log into your router’s admin page (typically through your browser at an IP like 192.168.1.1).
  

• Look for UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) settings and ensure it is enabled, as it can help automatically open ports for gaming.
  

• You can also set up port forwarding for the Xbox. Microsoft provides a list of ports to forward if needed.
  

Try a Different Network

If possible, try connecting to a different network (e.g., a mobile hotspot or another Wi-Fi network). This can help determine whether the issue is related to your current internet setup.
