Halo Infinite isn’t saving

Even without a subscription or with restrictions for being a child account, the game should automatically save normally.

See if these steps help you.

Click with the menu button on the game icon and go to manage game and add-ons and in saved data delete the ''reserved space'', clean your console's MAC, restart when prompted, and try again.

To clean the MAC follow this path

Settings>general>network settings>advanced settings>alternative MAC address and click clear and restart the console when prompted.

If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required. You will need to put your account home again on the console.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

It is worth noting that halo infinite is checkpoint based so if you do a 20 min fire fight and die but fail to hit the next checkpoint you reset to the last checkpoint not where you save

So if you are not hitting checkpoints he should always backtrack to the a firebase or continue to the next checkpoint

This is important If you aren't doing well during the dual Spartan killer mission

I'd you clear a base but die with one guy left and fail to hit the checkpoint you gotta clear thr base again

Can not believe this still has not been resolved yet. Looks like it is a bigger problem than we first thought.

Im not really sure how i feel about her story arc, will have to see in halo infinite. But i wouldnt say she has to be ‘saved’, people will be having to be saved from her!

Thank you, it seems that right now the best option is delete the cloud save and start a new campaign :c (this is going to delete the progress, your achievements remain)

If you want to proceed, try this (is not for Halo infinite this specific tutorial, but I think that it works)

"Make sure your PC Offline Permissions is set to ON

Open the Microsoft store.

Click on your profile image and then click settings.

Make sure your Offline Permissions is set to ON

Start the game, wait for the start screen.

Disconnect your PC from the internet.

Go to your Windows 10 Settings --> Storage --> Apps & games --> Halo infinite -->Advanced Options -->Select the "Reset" button.

Start playing for a few minutes to create a new local save

Connect back to the internet.

If you are prompted to pick a save, you only need to select "LOCAL" for this time. Moving forward, you will want to select "Cloud.""
