Halo Infinite Is Not Saving Game Files

Ive downloaded Halo Infinite for computer using the Xbox game pass
I played 8 hours yesterday only to log in today with no option to continue my game or load a save
The only option presented was "start a new game"
When playing, "Save failed" continues to appear

I have made sure the save data location is read and write access
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game
I have repaired and reset the game files
I have made sure there is enough data for the saves
I have disabled Ransomware Protection

Nothing I have done has allowed any of my saved data to be recovered or corrected the "save failed" error

What an absolute disappointment of a game. No manual save option, and a glitch that has gone unaddressed for over a year

Can not believe this still has not been resolved yet. Looks like it is a bigger problem than we first thought.

No there is no manual saves as it's checkpoint based

Did you link to tthe halo waypoint I'm not sure if there is an app but you do need to have a waypoint account

I apologize for the trouble, in this case, it would be best to submit a report to HALO support in that way they can immediately look into it to check what options you will have in regards to your save file.

Hi KwanFong, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For cases like this what we initially need to do is to quit the game and perform power cycle in that way once you launch the game your in-game data will just re-sync.

Kindly quit the game and follow the steps below before you re-launch the game.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
