Halo Infinite error message after Xbox One update

We understand that you are trying to play Halo Infinite in multiplayer and is prompted with an error message: "Content required to play this experience is not yet installed." Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

Are you trying to play this version of Halo Infinite - Halo Infinite | Xbox or this one - Halo Infinite (Campaign) | Xbox? Based on the game's support article, you do not need an active Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass subscription to play Halo Infinite however the campaign one, will need to be purchased or else accessed through a Game Pass subscription.

Since this is a multiplayer issue, we may need to check your Xbox Network to ensure you can do multiplayer and account privacy for allowing multiplayer and joining your friends in game.

same with me, Halo Infinite won't start, neither will Sea of Thieves on PC. No feedback as to why from an error message point of view

In this case, I would recommend you to contact the game developers. It is a bug since Halo is compatible with Xbox One X/S consoles and this error happened only on the last update.

Hello I've reported the issue to HaloWayPoint and they replayed with

now I'm facing same problem with sniper Elite 5. please any idea what to do both Halo infinite and Sniper Elite 5 can't update them and after uninstalled them now I can't install them back.

I got this error and tried a few things. What I got Halo Infinite to work was this:

After an uninstall and reinstall of Halo Infinite I did this:

Open powershell\terminal (win 11) as administrator and run this command:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers

I rebooted my machine

I tried launching Halo Infinite and a Windows store window popped up and I had to install Xbox Gaming services which I did and the campaign was available

I noticed a few days ago that the latest update to gaming services was just spinning in my microsoft store window. I think a messed up update went to xbox gaming services

I didnt think it was this because I am in the Beta Channel of win 11 updates but I am working now.

Unfortunately there is nothing about halo infinite on my Halo insider profile, the only thing that I got was an xbox message telling me to go the the xbox insider hub and download it
