    Halo Infinite crashing on start. MP not working at all.


    Found something new while looking into my Halo Infinite crash on game start and returning to the menu. MP stopped working in mid-November with a "server connection" msg.

    So, there are 2 versions of COD Cold War, X/S and Standard. When I install the X/S version it does the same as Halo Infinite, crash, blink and return to the main screen.

    The standard version COD ColdWar works just fine, both the game and MP. I have repeatable results on this. All these games are digital, no disk. Tested 6 other games from gamepass all are working fine.

    I called Microsoft Xbox One support and they claimed they would be reaching out to the developers. I'm having issues with Halo 2 as well; constantly freezing and crashing. It's the game, because Halo 5, Halo Infinite, Minecraft and all my other games work. Waiting to hear back.

    I had Halo Infinite installed and working and then suddenly it started crashing while trying to continue the campaign from the main menu. I tried uninstalling so I could reinstall it and now it won’t let me install it. I tried the steps in this guide and it’s still not working.
