    Halo infinite crashes while loading.


    I downloaded Halo Infinite and it would always crash when 50-70% loaded after starting the program, Ran compatibility checker and it says I need to update past version 1709 when I am currently running version 20H2.... which to my knowledge version 20 is higher than version 17. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi zano187,

    What are your complete computer specs, such as processor/ram/etc.? Did you try my other suggestion of downloading the game from the Microsoft Store instead of the Xbox App, or vice versa?

    Also, like I said in my previous post I would recommend reaching out to Halo support if you are continuing to experience installation issues. You can do so by clicking the link in my above post.

    Thank you for contacting the Xbox Forums! I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with downloading Halo Infinite.

    It does look like your OS is slightly outdated - as of November 16th we are now on 21H2. Please make sure that your computer is completely up to date, including all optional updates. Your current OS is more recent than 1709, yes, but it helps to be completely updated - especially with a new game.

    Also, are you trying to download the game through the Xbox app on your PC or through the Microsoft Store? If you are attempting to download it through the Xbox app, try downloading it from the Microsoft Store and see if that helps.
