    I just cannot get Halo Infinite to run stable for a long period of time. The time it runs without crashing varies, sometimes immediately crashes, sometimes 20minutes and sometimes nearly an hour but eventually it will hard crash (reboots PC). I've tried everything to solve including re-installing Windows 11 and only installing this game (with drivers etc...). Also tried not installing the hi-res texture packs, setting my memory to stock but nothing stops it from crashing.

    I'm running a 5950x, 32GB RAM & a 3080 RTX so my spec is good enough.

    I monitored temps during a run and my CPU never got above 62C with memory load <50%. GPU was 77C (hotspot 88C, Junction 96C all within spec). The GPU was using 9.4GB.

    Using latest NVIDIA driver 497.09 and Windows 11 and XBOX app are all up to date.

    Not having issues with other games, played Far Cry 6 through to completion with no issues as an example.

    Halo infinite was hard crashing a lot for me at launch but then seemed to work perfectly through December and now after the most recent update I’m back to crashing almost every game. The game even crashes in the main menu sometimes. Half the time it crashes to Xbox dashboard half the time it shuts the whole Xbox off. I’m on a series x. I’ve done all the troubleshooting tips. This game is broken.

    Ok, but I did the same with halo infinite but I didn't buy it (the offline version). The achievements are still showing up on steam for that game. Can you tell me why is that the case?

    So here id what happened. I played halo infinite campaign with the pass too. After finishing it, I started playing multiplayer on steam and the achievements of campaign are showing completed on steam (the same ones on xbox) but this is not the case for fh5. Is there an explanation?

    All Xbox apps i use crash on load

    Yes, as i said i have hard reset my pc and completely updated everything. Uninstalling the xbox app did not work either. Still crashing on the menu in halo infinite
