Halo Infinite by campaign with Xbox mobile game pass

I have Xbox game pass ultimate and when playing Halo Infinity campaign mode for several days with the game pass. I am now signing on today and being asked to purchase the campaign mode when signing in with the same mobile game pass with Xbox account enabled.

I tried clearing cash as well as restarting game turning off and on the app as well as the device. I didn't update last night so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. It was an Android update so I'm not sure if the compatability of that had anything to do with it.

Also, I'm not sure if it's just like an error or I truly do need to buy the game, like a phishing scam I went to buy but syntax box pops up telling me " cannot open link while in game". I'm not sure but I thought it was available through the game pass.

Help is needed.

We understand that you are trying to play Halo Infinite Campaign and is unable to because you were asked to repurchase it. .tethchokmah, it really is important for us to get this worked on so you can get back to what you are doing. However, we found out that this has been a known issue. There is a work around however if issue persist you will need to submit a ticket to Halo Support and share your console details. I did manage to get halo infinite campaign installed but now whenever i try to open halo infinite it opens up the Microsoft Store's Gaming Services page instead. I am on game pass on PC. Ive tried reinstalling the xbox app but it still doesnt work.

Just a friendly reminder though that the HALO Infinite Batelle Pass is not included on the Xbox Game Pass. It only includes HALO Infinite Campaign just the base game.

Ok, but I did the same with halo infinite but I didn't buy it (the offline version). The achievements are still showing up on steam for that game. Can you tell me why is that the case?

So here id what happened. I played halo infinite campaign with the pass too. After finishing it, I started playing multiplayer on steam and the achievements of campaign are showing completed on steam (the same ones on xbox) but this is not the case for fh5. Is there an explanation?
