    Hi:

    I have thought about buying an Xbox 360, but I want to know if it is compatible with the following games:

    -Halo Reach

    -Halo combat evolved anniversary

    -Halo 3

    -Halo 3 ODST

    -Halo 2 anniversary

    What if I can play split screen halo combat evolved anniversary campaign with someone else..

    Are you trying to system link between Xbox ones that are playing the Halo: Master Chief Collection and Xbox 360s that are playing the Xbox 360/Xbox Original versions of those games? I'm pretty sure that cross-play between Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of
    the games will not work. You can cross-play with the Xbox 360 version of the games on both consoles, for example, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 are backwards compatible on Xbox one.

    You will either need all Xbox ones playing the Halo: Master Chief Collection or all Xbox 360s running the Xbox 360 Halo game of your choice.

    I am not a Halo fan but what Halo game launched with the 360? Halo 2 launched on xbox a year prior to 360 and Halo 3 launched in 07.

    To add to what ChiefJoboo said, all Xbox 360 era Halo games are backwards compatible. This includes Halo: Reach, Halo 4, and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. You would need to be running Xbox 360 copies of all games to be compatible.

    Mayhems Shaddow, There was no Halo release game with the Xbox 360, infact there wasn't a Halo game released for nearly 2 years after the 360 launch.
