    Halo: combat evolved won't launch


    Hello, I bought The original Halo: Combat Evolved on the xbox 360 digital store. When I'm done downloading it and i launch the game a error message comes up saying " The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.". Since then I have downloaded
    the game six times and downloaded my account twice to no avail. So, what do I do?

    Halo Campaings

    Don't listen to these guys. You should play Halo: Reach BEFORE playing Halo: Combat Evolved if you want to play them in chronological order of the story timeline. Halo: Reach is a direct prequel to Combat Evolved. Combat Evolved picks up IMMEDIATELY where
    Reach ends.

    FYI you need a official 360 hard drive attached (if fat model) or inserted (if slim model) or the game will not work, just cause you were able to download it does not mean your drive is an official drive.

    The sucky thing is that I do have a hard drive and the game still won't start.

    well if it wont start then you have a boot leg/3rd party hard drive and they are usually missing the needed emulation software required to play the old games. and there is no way to add the missing software you would have to buy a legit drive, make sure
    you get it from a reputable dealer like stores that sell 360 and One accessories or MS's amazon store.
