Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2 should be backwards compatible

Halo combat evolved and halo 2 on the master chief collection are not the original versions. I am fairly certain that they are instead the pc versions which are easier to run since they have all the same graphical issues as the halo custom edition and halo
2 vista ports. The versions used for master chief collection are also much buggier by a huge margin which cannot be denied. The ai behaviour is much worse and gravity based physics are much heavier which is apparently caused by the game running twice as fast.
The difficulty modifiers on halo 2 have been changed so that you can't activate them from within the level so there's no longer any reason to go collect them more than once. Halo CE on the master chief collection features countless audio bugs such as the plasma
pistol bug and the music cutting out randomly which is a huge problem for a halo game where the music is about 50% of what we remember about them.

I want the original versions of these fantastic games to be playable on the current generation platforms because the master chief collection has changed them for the worse. The original experience without the low graphics settings and the buggy ai behaviours
must be preserved to display the passion that Bungie put into them both to make them look so good with the sticks and stones they had to use to make them.

I find it to be very strange that this has not already been done since all the halo games from the 360 have been made backwards compatible even when they compete with the player population of the master chief collection. Halo CE and Halo 2 have been left
out for seemingly no reason as if they don't even exist. They pose no risk of competition with the master chief collection since they will not have xbox live.

Surely nothing would be lost by making these games backwards compatible. It is a travesty that these landmark titles of the original xbox have not been made available to us yet.
