    Halo Collection will not download


    Hello everyone, I am having an issue that is really frustrating.

    It all started with the new update for the Halo Master Collection. I had the game through game pass and had been playing it and downloading updates with no issues before. This last one though just out of nowhere would not update and say installation stopped. No error code or anything. I have tried various troubleshooting such as trying different wifi, trying on a hard drive and on the xbox, resetting the xbox to factory defaults, uninstalling and re-installing it. None of that has worked, I have also tried other updates and those are fine just this one and now i can not get it to download. It is almost like this game is corrupted on my profile. I had a microsoft gift card that i used to buy the game through the store but the same thing happened. After 3 phone calls with Xbox support, 2 tickets from Halo support I am out of options where they have just referred me to each other and it has become overly frustrated. What should I do to have someone look at the game on my profile. Do i have to go to a specialist or to a store to make this work.

    XBox1 playing discs, not online

    Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.

    Hi Shandy,

    Yes the Master Chief Collection includes all of the original Halo 1 through 4 and Spartan Ops. Separately from the main game, there is also available as a paid download Halo: ODST and Halo: Reach. I have the whole collection so I'll be the source on that.
