    Halo: CE unplayable with remastered graphics in Master Chief Collection


    Since the most recent MCC update, it is basically impossible to play the Halo: Combat Evolved campaign with the updated graphics. Anytime new scenery or assets need to be loaded in, the game freezes and can only be closed through the task manager. I have seen many other people reporting the exact same issue for six months now and nothing has been done. Is this ever going to be fixed? Do you guys even care? It's really frustrating to discover that such a significant problem is widespread and long-running, yet absolutely nothing has been done about it. Nor has it even been acknowledged by Microsoft or the development team.

    I have pretty much given up with Halo MCC on PC, does the same on steam too, also can never finish halo 2 multiple level with a friend as it always gets connection interruption or just outright crashes, 343 are a disaster along with microsoft.

    Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.

    The Original Xbox version of Halo CE is only backwards compatible on the the 360
    To play it on the One X you would need Halo The Master Chief Collection which includes
    Halo CE Anniversary

    Halo 2 Anniversary

    Halo 3

    Halo 3 ODST - available as add on content

    Halo Reach - available as add on content

    Halo 4

    And at the moment it is HALF PRICE in the Microsoft store (with ODST and Reach included too)

    Games for Windows Live is no longer supported. This is a remaster of Halo 2 and not the same thing. Youll have to buy Master Chief collection or use gamepass
