    Hi all. I asked this question on Halo Waypoint and a 343i person recommended I check here for help.

    I have Halo CE: which I have been playing the campaign on my Xbox One X on a 4K TV. I'm at Mission 5: Assault on the Control Room. The problem is when I load up from the save point I get to play for a bit, but as soon I try to move past a certain point on the map to the checkpoint I get a black screen and the Xbox shuts down (I've included a screenshot of the area). I have tried playing through multiple times, in different ways, taking different paths, killing different enemies and this happens over and over again.

    I was on the Insider programme but am not anymore. Another person has just reported this issue and they are not in the programme. Any help would be really appreciated.

    The achievements were Silent Cartographer, Assault on Control Room, and "What have we here?" all for Halo CE: Anniversary Edition.

    Sorry I forgot to mention those.

    I am trying to get through CE right now. I am actually stuck on the mission where you do the Assault on the control room. It is at the very end where you find the terminal for that level.

    Halo CE (Original Xbox Backward Compatible)

    Halo 2 (Original Xbox Backward Compatible)

    Halo 3

    Halo 4

    Halo Reach

    Halo 3 ODST

    Halo Wars

    Halo Spartan Assault

    Halo CE Anniversary

    Any of these can be played solo, and offline if you wish.

    Sure well in normal single player Offline campign frame rate is awful there is tearing across the screen on Xbox one x. this happens alot in halo ce The first halo game on mcc. It's seems worse than before now since they updated the game on 3/12/2019.

    Yep. I Confirm that. I playing Halo CE right now on Xbox One X, and frame is awful in many cases. Mostly in open space maps with a lot of green (when i changed to classic mode the problems gone). Also i played first mission i halo 2 and it has same issue
    with tearing.

    I have not played the Halo Wars series nor have I played Halo: Spartan Assault. I have also not played Halo 3: ODST. However, I have played all other Halo titles from the original CE to 5 and Reach. My favorite to this day will always be Halo Reach. When
    an ending can bring you to tears, after you've covered your hands in Grunt blood it's a good game hands down.
