Halo 6 already being worked on

Not a surprise, just thought I would post this since we do not have a Halo 6 forum.

This year seems like a great one for the 360 already.

The games that have been shown are already looking great. One example? Halo 4. Another? Resident Evil 6.

On a side note, isn't it interesting that, for being a pretty older story than Halo, Resident Evil only has six games and Halo already has 4?

Halo 4 is 1 of 3?

I was reading on Wikipedia earlier today that Halo 4 is the first game in a new Halo trilogy called the Reclaimer trilogy. Is that a misprint or should I take it to mean that Halo 5 and 6 are already in the works?

That's promising. I know Halo 5 was already being worked on before Halo 4 was even released. They said they had to split the team, so that they could work on Halo 5, while the others continued to work on the Spartan Ops, multiplayer, patches etc. I think
it's pretty much how any developer does it that has more than one title in the pipes. I know the Witcher 3 team was already developing their next title, when Witcher 3 released.

I believe that the next numbered (Halo 5) game has a good chance to be on the next console. There could be a "sidekick" game on 360 to hold us over until Halo 5. Though, I could see Halo 5 being on Xbox 360 and Halo 6 being on 720/Durango. I'm not betting
on that, though. It would make more sense for Halo 5 to be the first Halo on 720/Durango and then Halo 6 being the last in the new trilogy. After they've developed Halo 5 for 720/Durango, they will know the limits of the console. Halo 6 will push the limits
of the next Xbox just like Halo 4 is doing.

DARKWOLVEN69 they have said already they wont be patching in split screen or anything like that for Halo 5, but since there is such backlash from the community they are already looking into putting it into Halo 6 whenever that will be released..

I have a feeling that Halo Reach will not be backwards compatible because it (Halo Reach) will probably be re-mastered in the future (like Halo 1 and Halo 2).

With that being said, I also wouldn't be surprised if Halo Wars wasn't backwards compatible too as a re-mastering would probably be issued to it

With that being said, the reason that I'm guessing this is because it would be a perfect opportunuty for 343 Industries to fill in the time gap in between the release of Halo 5: Guardians and Halo 6.

This tactic (releasing the re-mastered versions of Halo Reach and Halo Wars in the middle of Halo 5: Guardians and Halo 6) is also an excellent way to promote Halo 6
