Halo 5 "you have been disconnected from the local network"

Halo 5 "you have been disconnected from the local network" this error message comes up after i play a couple of games. Does anyone have an idea what causes this or any fixes?

it is so annoying because when I get this issue the fire team I am playing with still enters the match while I have to wait for them to finish on the main menu.

halo 4 disconnecting from xbox live

You are disconnected from the halo 4 servers after a prolonged time of inactivity. If you leave your Xbox and leave for a bit you may have been disconnected. To reconnect simply change the game network settings from local to Xbox live.

I've never had this problem before..

 

Hey there Faroutdude, This sounds like your Xbox is getting disconnected from your local network. Are you connecting wired or wireless? I'll be happy to work with you to try and get this taken care of.

 

The thing is it is just Halo 5 Xbox live is still connected and the game is still connected to Xbox live it just happens every 3 games and party chat with my friends stays connected, I have seen some other people mention it on halo way point with no solution.

 

My Xbox is connected via wifi I have factory reset my router, hard reset my Xbox etc all the normal trouble shooting stuff, change my DNS to googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

 

That's all fine and especially if you stay connected in party we know the console isn't losing connection. Odds are good that it could just be their servers since it did just launch.

A curious question though. Why are you using googles DNS over your ISPs? Usually that adds extra hub hops on a connection and can cause additional latency.

 

Erm well the reason is because I am in the preview program on the NXOE and I had the recent MTU 510 problem, not the one were it was reported wrong but the one that stopped you from playing online games and the temporary fix at the time was to change to
the google dns, I have had this Halo 5 connection issue with both my ISPs and and googles and settings.

 

I am getting the same problem now. When I check my connection in settings it says its all fine. When I go to start a game in halo 5, it goes all the way until there are enough people to play the game. Then it boots me and tells me that "you've been disconnected
from the local network"..... what is the deal?
