Halo 5 Xbox Live Gold Complaints

Hello. I would like to complain that Halo 5 Gaurdians requires Xbox Live Gold to be able to do local co-op, and local multiplayer. Have some common sense, people don't want to have to do that to play Halo with their family on coop in the same room. They
should not need to do that. If you do not fix this within one week, then I will go public with this issue, sending the story to IGN, and other reputable gaming sites.

Are you referring to Halo 5 not having split screen? If so you are late to the party. That issue has been discussed ad nauseam it these forums and many others.

You would have to play on live to playing coop local

You have to remember the game is rendering at 1080p at 60fps

To render two different scenes at that res would be very taxing on their cpu

Halo 5 does not support local multiplayer in any fashion. It does not "require" Gold for it, because the feature does not exist. It does require Gold for online coop and multiplayer, as do the overwhelming majority of the multiplayer games on Xbox. This
has already been widely reported by "reputable gaming sites" after the interview the developers gave to Ars Technica last June confirmed this.

I'm french and I've bought the new Halo 5.

It was an error.... I did not knew there was no split screen like in the other Halo.

More I ve decided to buy Xbox one only because of Halo 5...

Now if Microsoft doesn't change this I'll stop to pay to access to live gold, and I'll sell my xbox one.

Hello speedyraven02.

You have 2 separate issues. First Halo 5 does not support split screen like previous Halo games so playing at the same time on the same console is not possible.
