    Halo 5 wont install


    hi 2 years ago i uninstalled halo 5 as i needed space for new games and i have now gotten a hardrive for those games and wanted to re install it. it downloads without the update to about 23% and stops. i click resume and it doesnt start the download but
    it gives a notificiation saying it has stopped. i have tried installing it in offline mode for console and profile. i have enough storage for external and internal but i dont know why it isnt installing. i put up a post on the halo 5 forums but i was only
    asked about storage, offline mode and disc condition. my disc has very small scratches on it which never affected gameplay at all so i dont know why it wont download.

    anyone have any ideas?

    Hello

    The console came with a downloadable code, these are tied to the account that redeemed it and not the console itself. You can't download the game again unless you are the owner of the account that downloaded it.

    You may want to try different disk if my friend has a copy of the game or something and see if it is a disc scratch that is causing you to not finish down past 23%

    none of my friends have it on disk but i might trade in the game and get it off store as it is only $30. i wont have disc issues then.
