Halo 5 Warzone **** Exploit

Good afternoon.

I am posting this to bring it to the attention to the XBLpet Team. Apparently there has been a glitch/exploit in Halo 5 for the Warzone **** Gametype. Apparently when you are trying to capture the first base, the armory is locked by shield doors with marines
inside for defense. On your HUD, it is telling you to take the first base, not the armory, which once again is locked. There is no objective navpoint for the armory when the first base is not yet taken.

What people do is put themselves on an angle on the armory door, so the marines shoot the door, ricocheting the bullets and killing themselves, which causes an exploit and allows the enemy team through the shield door once they die before the first base is
taken, going against the fundamentals of the gametype in the first place. Here is a

There has been some arguments going on with people, defenders of this exploit using 'game design' and 'lack of response from 343 Industries' as their excuses. I have used LIVE's
Code of Conduct to show how it is wrong and how these people who defend the exploit are wrong. From the Code of Conduct:

Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don't:

• Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches

I have also shown some of the defenders of the exploit that they agreed to the Code of Conduct and Terms of Use and are bound to it, as they would not be able to use LIVE's Services without agreeing, and that by using this exploit, they are violating the
Code of Conduct they agreed to. Their response was 'Matter of Opinion'. Curious to hear from an XBLpet regarding this glitch/exploit, and if a player uses it if they are indeed violating Code of Conduct and ToU.

who else keeps being kicked out today

 

Warzone halo 5

does not unlock I want to win 3 games in oroginali maps of the warzone, I got stuck at 66% what should I do ?? I miss only that, on xbox.com site gives me progress 100% but not unlocked I still nothing

 

Hey mate,

You are correct in that it is not good, however there is nothing we can do from the forums.

The best way to sort this out, is firstly to report the person using it through the console, on the person's profile (File Complaint). Then also to report it to 343 through the halo waypoint forums so that they can fix it

Then its jsut a waiting game until its acknowledged and fixed

So then at the core though, does using this exploit/glitch violate Code of Conduct though? It's not so much about what can be done, it's to prove that using it is wrong in the eyes of Microsoft through their Code of Conduct, so people are more inclined to
stop using it, instead of using excuses to defend it.

Yeah, its a very grey area unfortunately, and many people do interpret it differently, however in the end, the code of conduct is as clear as you can get.

The fact of the matter is, they are using this in a way that it was not intended to be used, to gain an unfair advantage in the game. So in the end, its quite clear that the are breaking the code of conduct

Exploits have always been an grey area though, people will argue that they are still playing the game within its boundaries, or that if it was not picked up by the devs then they are free to use it, but in the end its not the way the game was intended to
be played, and is giving an unfair advantage to those who use it.

I don't work for MS in the end, but have been around for quite some time, and had this discussion with others quite a bit, so this is just my opinion. However in the end, that are 'exploiting a game vunerability' and that is exactly what the Code of Conduct
says not to do... so there really isn't any argument IMO
