Halo 5 - tv passthrough

I am hoping that someone might have a solution to my issue or is experiencing something similar. Basically I have been using the HDMI passthrough to integrate with my Sky HD box for a number of months and all has been absolutely fine. Over the last week
I have purchased Halo 5 and a new TV and have noticed that after playing Halo 5 and returning to TV there is a noticeable judder. I am able to see it clearly by watching Sky Sports News and watching the yellow ticker tape display across the bottom of the screen!
I wondered if it was an issue with the new TVs but having tested it with other games (Forza 6) there seems to be no issue at all, it's just an issue after playing Halo 5. I have reset Xbox, I have checked my settings, made sure the "allow 50hz" box is ticked.
I have had to unplug Sky from the HDMI input which is a shame as I enjoy the Xbox one EPG.

Anyone else having this issue? Any advice gratefully received!

Not a huge gamer...I need some convincing to buy the Xbox One.

Heard that the cable TV passthrough on the One actually made the picture quality worse and the operating system can get chuggy at times.

When the xbox one first released the pass though was almost unusable in the uk until they added the 50zh setting.

Sounds like the xbox is not switching back to 50 after halo. Maybe just fire up another game or app between finishing halo and watching $ky?

If that work-around helps, then hopefully it should be an easy bug to fix, so report it. (This is just a user forum)

I have the same issue as well. Denon receiver.. FIOS TV/Motorola Cable Box. everything works fine for TV passthrough when connected straight to the TV, but as soon as I ad the AV receiver, TV signal goes black and TV cuts in and out. hopefully something
that will get fixed in the future. I'm not sacrificing all of my other setups on my home theatre just to have the TV passthrough, but it's disappointing this doesn't seem to work with an AV receiver right now.

Currently you need the console on if you are passing TV through it. I hope they update it to passthrough while off like my Google TV.

I love my passthrough. My TV and my switch go to a hub and use the passthrough and my surround from the optical out. I really hope they keep passthrough because if we use the family room the xbox is on and everything runs through it. Its simple. And quite
frankly a huge reason I never had interest in the PS4.
