343i said they wasnt killing chief off and his a main point in halo 5 but what does this video mean? On the bullet it says Traitor and ONI.

Its suppose to be revealed Sunday at 6pm PST.;I did see a supposedly leaked teaser I saw it on MP1st; of course it's not there now the youtube video has been removed. It was someone firing at Master Chief's helmet and shattering it.

If they mess with the Masterchief they won't be getting any of my money.

 

Chief left the UNSC to search for for some remenant of Cortana, which is essentially going rogue or becoming a traitor. Oni and the UNSC can't have one of their weapons, made by Halsey going off the leash. Locke is sent to find Chief with orders to kill
him, only to find out some truth that makes him question whether chief is a hero or a traitor.

Kill him and the tired franchise. Traitor or not, MC is one of the lamest characters I have ever seen. I don't like Bungie, but they were at least better than 343. Halo is one of the most boring FPS I have ever played. It was cool for the first 3 games but
they decided not to change anything......ever. Reach and H4 were absolutely woeful games.

 

The internet is going crazy with 'talk' that Master Chief will be killed off.

Personally I don't think it will ever happen but it wouldn't stop me buying the next game. I love the campaigns and stories so far so why not shock us and let another character take over the story?

 

Thats ur opinion but Halo 5 is the most pre ordered game in America so ur opinion is pretty weak if you ask me. and its a xbox one only game so thats pretty good. As for what u said PICK i think ur right but i dont think Locke is sent to "kill" chief more
so to bring him home but then he learns chiefs intentions. I think his looking for either harlsey or Cortona. But if they kill Chief then you might aswell kill Halo as he is Halo

Bran, you seem to have fallen into the whole "they never change anything in this franchise and that's why it sucks!" kind of mentality. It's 1 I will NEVER understand, because while the Halo games have always had their similarities, they've ALL been very
different or introduced new things.

Halo CE - completely revitalized FPS games as we know them.

Halo 2 - introduced dual-wielding.

Halo 3 - introduced equipment and Forge mode.

Halo Wars - different genre entirely; proved RTS games could be done on console.

Halo ODST - introduced Firefight mode and gameplay where you weren't a Spartan.

Halo Reach - introduced Spartan "abilities" which was a marked improvement over equipment.

Halo 4 - introduced class system and sprinting as a standard mechanic.

Halo 5 - introduced mantling, boosting, etc.

The Halo games may retain that "Halo feel" but, IMO, that's a good thing. Any popular franchise that does that is making a compromise so they can retain the fans they've already gained. If they change things too much, they could lose or alienate those fans.
It's all 1 great big balancing act.

 

It sparked my interest, and in my opinion each Halo got better and betyer. 4 being my favorite

 

GG Halo 2 is what also made online FPS on console. When they made Halo 2 the guy who made the maps said he got told it wont work as it has never been done before as online FPS was never on console so with out Halo 2 games like Rainbow and call of duty may
never have been thats why Call Of Duty 1 was on PC
