    Hi there, I’m following up case # SRX1474789002ID

    The issue is the complete lack of dedicated servers for Halo 5 in Australia and the resulting high latency. (Typically 130ms and above)

    Myself and others have raised the issue with 343 on their Halo forum but it seems that they have no response.

    With the release of the new Halo game approaching, I think its fair to say that the uptake rate won’t be anywhere near as good as it could be if they had the right infrastructure in place.

    Most of the Australian gaming community are actually playing the Master Chief Collection instead, simply because the servers are either in Australia or at least nearby.

    Can someone PLEASE pass this info on to 343 in a way they understand?

    The game isn’t fun at the moment.

    I typically wait several minutes to get a match and thats on the EXPANDED setting. Focused or balanced will never make a match. The game will simply time out.

    It's not just you who has high pings mate, it's anyone who plays you. Really, it's you who's ruining the experience for everyone else. /s

    One of the great issues behind non-dedicated servers, but you're not going to find an answer for that.

    I'm over in Australia, so It's just another day for me. I'll be staying in and play Halo 5 and doing a few other things, but nothing special.

    Halo 4 is rated R13 in NZ, but only M in Australia. COD BO2, COD AW, and Halo MCC are rated R16 under the NZ Classification Act. Which means you can't buy the game unless someone with you is of age or if you're old enough. Even 5 year olds play COD and Halo
    even though the game may have a higher age rating. Halo Reach is R16 in NZ I think it's R15 for Australia.
