    Halo 5 - Series X - Multiplayer server error every time


    Hello, I get an error in Halo 5 on Series X, and its Microsoft Store support link referred me to this site for non-Xbox-One support.

    The issue is that, when I go to Multiplayer > Social > Quick Play, I get this error message: "There was a problem with the Dedicated Server. Please try again."

    Immediately trying again does not work, and it happens day after day regardless of the time of day. Does anyone know why?

    This seems like a big bug that I would expect the developers to fix, so I thought that I would bring it up in the seemingly official channel in hopes that it will be addressed by them.

    I have found that restarting my Xbox, quitting and reopening the game, and retrying a couple of times causes it to work for a few games. However, it stops working if I leave it for a while and come back, and I am not willing to restart everything each time
    I take a break. Has anybody found a quicker workaround?

    Thanks! The weird thing is, this issue only happens with series x games. Forza horizon 4 looks perfect. It’s just the new multiplayer halo and Forza Horizon 5.

    I dont have control parental. I have 5 friends with xbox series X and the same problem. The 360 games servers not see the users and it say download perfil user, mail and password. After this password dont save and you have to write it to every 360 games. I think the error begin the last firmware.

    Halo 5 will have DEDICATED servers. Almost guaranteed the waiting time will be non existent.

    Halo 4 does not have dedicated servers so it takes much longer because it is trying to find a host. Then if the host is not good, finds another host....... That does not happen with dedicated servers.

    On a side note, I just mess with my Android phone while I wait for the Halo lobbies to load. haha

    Halo 2 and Halo 3 were my favorite games of the series and this game is miles and miles ahead of both of those games. I would not compare Halo 4 to Reach at all. Thats just insulting. Reach was not a good game at all. Halo 4 is easily the best out of the
    entire series. Not only is it the best of the series it has THE most balanced multiplayer I have played in my life.

    The campaign has some of THE best graphics I have seen on the 360. I dont see a game topping Halo 4 graphically until Crysis 3 comes out next year. I like every single campaign level in Halo 4 and thats something I have never been able to say for the Halo
    series. The co-op campaign is a blast..

    Spartan ops offers something new and refreshing every single monday with 5 new chapters (levels) to play. Episode 3 Chapter 4 is incredible. The best so far.

    Multiplayer as I said above is the most balanced multiplayer I have ever played. Halo 4 is the GOTY 2012 for me.
