    Hello

    I logged into halo 5 guardians to play some SWAT. I was ranked Plat (4 or 5). I decided to warm up first though on Master Chief Collection so I switched over. I come back to Guardians, and my SWAT rank is reset and I need to play placement matches again.
    What happened?

    Quick question

    Badass rank is unlimited for each character. Rank 5 of each challenge resets. So, say level 5 is kill 500 skags and the reward is 100 rank.... Every 500 skags you kill nets you 100 rank.

    Why would you be worried about a reset?

    Were you going to put your HALO ranking on your CV?

    I mean, fair enough if the game had been out for a while... but it hasn't.

    Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it was due to the multiplayer update they were rolling out today. I believe you do de-rank, but not 3 to 0!

    I'm not worried but if things are going to be reset it pretty much defies the point in playing it until its safe to assume there is no reset. Its the online equivalent to having a save wiped. I would see little point in ranking up 'knowing' it will be reset
    buddy. That's just me though.
