Halo 5 Physical Copy

I just picked up my limited edition Halo 5 Xbox One today, and I know that the console comes with a downloadable version of the game, but if I wanted a physical copy of it rather than the digital version, who would I contact and how?

yeah I hear you on that. But it just made me a bit frustrated about the receipt thing. They should of announced this prior to the release about the receipt.

The pictures required are just to verify that you indeed bought the Limited Collectors Edition and not the console which also comes with a digital version of the game. It was known that the LCE would come with a digital version of the game and the exchange
for a disc version was offered by Microsoft because a lot of people wanted that. Shipping+handling is payed for by Microsoft for the disc exchange. You did not need to exchange it but it was out of free will and therefor I doubt that a compensation will be
given.

 

Yeah they said you can trade the Halo 5 X1 digital copy for the physical copy. They told me its not a Limited Edition, but I have all the Limited Edition stuff but its not a Limited Edition.

Unfortunately the digital version of the game which comes with the console is not eligible to be exchanged for a disc.

 

No if you read the actual form it clearly states the limited collectors edition

Fyi the reason they are doing this is because you got a prepaid to predownload it with the collectors edition rather then a disk

The limited edition is a disk copy vs the collectors was a code with physical items like the guardian etc

If youncomolain to the thensupport line you arent in one spot

 

If you want to show numbers then use uservoice

But it really depends on hownmany actually bought the limited edition console

 

Just to clarify. If the disc comes from this:

Then you can get request for a Disc Swap. If you scroll down to the bottom of that link. It will give you information about the disc swap. But if the digital copy came from the console like this:

www.microsoftstore.com/.../productID.319985900

Then it is not eligible for Disc swap.

 

the Customer Support Rep just took my code from the Halo 5 Console and swapped it for a physical disk.

It was great when I called in to do this with my collectors edition. I had 2 reps call me a liar and said I had purchased the regular edition (which isnt even out yet) rather than the version that I bought. I had to provide my receipt AND a picture of the
game box and the statues before they admitted they were wrong, without apologize (thanks manager Tammy). So after 2 hours they promised expedited shipping so it would get here by release date since they treated me horiibly, and suprise it STILL has not shipped.
I can't imagine why people are flocking to Sony with the joke customer service MS has
