Halo 5 or Black Ops 3? Can only buy one.

I've got enough cash for Halo 5 or Black Ops 3. Undecided on which to buy. Ones out already, one is yet to be released. I played the Beta of Black Ops 3 on PS4 and enjoyed it for what it was. Haven't played any Beta for Halo 5 though so no idea of how the
game play is through personal experience.

Thoughts? Opinions? If you were to buy Halo 5 what would set it apart from Black Ops 3 for you?

I can buy other games like halo 4 on the xbox live marketplace... It is only not letting me buy Black Ops 2...

Black Ops 2 for me. I loved Black Ops, it's my favorite COD game ever. Simple as that.

 

Depends on what you like.

Campaign: BO3 in my opinion. Halo 5's falls short and aside from skulls/intel/(online co-op. NO split screen) Has no replay value.

MP: Halo 5 and BO3 both I think will deliver the goods. I don't play MP but it's been said that unlike Halo 4, in Halo 5. Everyone will have all the MP maps (30 or so from what I read) this time around.

 

As Electro said it's personal choice, but I don't see how BO3's campaign would have anymore or less replay value than Halo 5? Wouldn't be similar? How can you put BO3 over Halo already when you haven't even played it yet?

Anyway, Halo 5's single player was pretty epic imo, the map design was awesome, heaps of little secret passages through the levels to flank the enemies, quite a few funny moments I've taken videos of, game mechanics improved all around as well as tweaks
of nearly all the weapons and the story itself was good.

I haven't played the multiplayer myself, but have heard from people I've talked to that it's a major improvement over 4 and probably the most enjoyable since Halo 3 which was my personal favourite of the series. The REQ system worries me a bit though because
people will hide until they can call in their vehicle or whatever.

Overall I think it's a good purchase for the $ as you can get the standard over here for $69 which I haven't seen in a long time.

I'm personally not buying Call of Duty's anymore, but what would go into my choice is whether I felt like a military shooter or space shooter, I'm pretty basic like that, haha.

 

I played Halo 5 upon release, just not via this account. BO3 I have yet to play, and likely will not be playing it unless my neighbor buys it as well. However from what I've seen so far. It's campaign definitally has replay potiential.

 

I'd go with BO3 because I like the zombie mode. I haven't played either, and I'm not a fan of either, but I feel like I need a FPS because it's been a while. I have played Zombi which is 1st person, but there is more melee so it doesn't count.

 

I am having an absolute blast with BO3. The servers seem to be better. The spawns seem to be better. Just overall everything seems to be better that the past few titles. I haven't played Halo yet though so my opinion is a bit jaded. I am just telling you,
you will enjoy BO3.

 

Halo 5 is xbox one exclusive and most wanted game .go for it . It is worth every penny .for cod you can wait till it goes on sale for like 30 dollars

 

Halo is fantastic but the campaign is lackluster. The lack of split screen was kind of a bust but the multiplayer is solid though also feels like its missing something.

Black Ops has a lot more to offer on the face but its a call of duty game. They tent to be vary similar. If you played one you played them all. However it is better then the last 2games.

Me I have both and honestly love halo more.

 

I managed to get both in the end, bit lucky there. Enjoyed both so far. Finding Halo 5 REQ system a little confusing though. Enjoyed the campaign though. Thought it was quite good. Been playing Black Ops 3 multiplayer all day. Just started campaign. Feels
like a completely different game yo multiplayer lol.

 

I was gonna say Black Ops but glad you got both. I think Halo 5 is *** good but something about this Call of Duty that really dragged me in.

 

I liked the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta. Really enjoyed it so it was always going to be a buy at some point, but I love Halo and can't not buy it. I enjoyed it a lot and am looking forward to playing some more Warzone.

Cannot say I am disappointed by either game. Getting Fallout 4 for Christmas as well. Good times.
