Halo 5 multiplayer does not work

Hello, I have the digital version of Halo 5 and the multiplayer has stopped working completely. It says can not connect to the Halo network? Every other game and my Xbone connects to the internet / my network with no problem. Why is this happening now? I
have already hard reset, is Halo 5 online broken? Help please I miss Halo!! Thanks for your time team! This started yesterday May 13 2016, I am on the east coast day light savings EST

Halo 5 does not support split-screen multiplayer. Only one player per console unfortunately.

 

How do you play split screen on OneX

Halo 5 does not have the split screen function, can be played in multiplayer online but does not allow two players to play coop offline.

 

Are you playing with the account that own the game? If yes, try to make this account as home console, turn off console, and try again

 

Yes this is my home console and the only account on it is mine, that I bought the game with. It used to work as I have played Halo 5 a lot when it first came out, but now I try to select a multiplayer mode and it either gets (stuck) searching for other players
or I get that "can not connect to Halo server" message, have not tryed it today but I will soon. My gold membership is active until April 2017

 

In my reply I meant that my console is set as my home/primary console, I have checked that in the past to make sure as it's the only console I own.

 

Never mind, it's working now. I did another power cycle and unplugged my console for a few seconds, played war zone with no issues
