Halo 5 Multiplayer broken after a few matches

Been playing Halo 5: Guardians since launch, and I have a strange error with my game after I play about 4 or 5 multiplayer matches in a row across any game type in Arena or Warzone. Upon launch of the 5th or so match, the loading panning shots become very
shuddery and glitchy, and the game won't load properly, with the effects of this being anything from assets not loading, not spawing at all and being stuck of the respawn screen, what seems like horrendous lag with other players, or even being stuck on the
launchpad at the beginning of a breakout match.

Strangely restarting my whole Xbox fixes the issue for another few matches, only for it to happen again soon after. I have already uninstalled all local content and re-installed it from my disc of the game.

Has anyone else been experiencing the same issues? I've not been able to find any reports of the same things happening. I wonder if I may have a broken copy of the game, or my Xbox itself is broken.

Why Halo 5 will be so much better than Halo: MCC, and could it be as good as Reach?

I really like the look of Warzone so i'm, hopeful it will be better than Reach.

I'm also hoping they learned their lessons from the broken matchmaking in the MCC and Halo 5 multiplayer will be problem free.

If multiplayer works properly on release then there is a good chance that Halo 5 will popular and be able to retain it's online population even after BO3 comes out.

If we have another repeat of the MCC broken matchmaking fiasco then i'm afraid Halo will lose all credibility and the series will die

 

Intermittent Connectivity Issues

My issues started Oct 27th. Kicks me out of every 2nd or 3rd Halo 5 multiplayer match. My internet connection shows very good stats and o% packet loss. It's better than a few days ago, though, when i could not play any matches.

As the game is so new, it could just be a launch issue, so I wouldn't go assuming its your copy of the game just yet. The fact that you are able to play a few games shows that its working at least, as if the game was broken you'd not be able to play any.
I know its basic, but have you tried hard resetting your console? You can do this by having the console on, and then holding the power button on the console down until it turns off, wait a minute, then fire it up and try again. This can fix any number of issues,
so its worth a try

Thanks for your help Denaz! That link had some useful tips, but ultimately a hard reset seems to have fixed my problem.
