    I got a limited edition halo 5 console that was bundled with a special edition of the game. The only download code in the box was for content add on. It was my loss as I could not do anything with the retailer due to the content "missing" and a load of other
    reasons. Already contacted Microsoft who told me to go to the retailer. I find it frustrating at the lack of security for the consumer. A 500 dollar console and I'm just out of luck for the special edition game. The code should be linked to the console somehow
    or pre downloaded would be better.

    The support page on this matter only states the Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians, but since you do have to contact official support for it you can always ask them if the code from the console is valid for this exchange as well. Just be aware
    that you will only get the disc, you won't get it in a case because the case itself is supplied in the Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians.

    Well, Halo 4 didn't have a Legendary Edition, so i don't know if Halo 5: Guardians would get back into that groove. My guess is that they'll have an 80-100$ Limited Edition, with some cool doo-dads, and also release a Halo 5: Guardians Edition Console with
    a Standard Edition of the game included with the console.

    Fyi the reason they are doing this is because you got a prepaid to predownload it with the collectors edition rather then a disk

    The limited edition is a disk copy vs the collectors was a code with physical items like the guardian etc

    Well, the controller is from Halo 5 Limited edition xbox one console bundle. That bundle was the very last they had in stock, and the retailer doesn't sell Halo 5 xbox one wireless separately. Guess I'm ***, but thanks anyway.
