Halo 5 jumping question [silly me!]

If it is a simple run and jump with pressing the A Buttom and it doesn't work here are a few tricks.

-Check the Settings (as you did) if all the Buttoms are correctly maped.

-Try to reconnect your Xbox controller by taking out the batterys or hold the connect buttom on the controller (locadet next to the charging usb port) until the xbox logo blinks, when this happens hold the connection buttom on your xbox (located next to
the front usb port) until the xbox logo on the controller is constantly lighten up as it should be when connected... it can happen that the controller isn't sending the singal for some odd reason.

Try it in a diffrent game to see if it works fine there.

If it still doesen't work,

-hardboot your Xbox by holding the xbox logo on the console until it shuts down

Or

-restart or reinstall the game

I am missing something in this game as I have never missed anything in other games!

Cannot open the "Forerunner" gate which is in the beginning. Something about "Artemis"... Frustrating!

Never had to ask as such before... unless I drop the game!

I had the feeling it was what I call "something like that" [the unknown... you know!]

It plays fine in another game I also play. My controller is hard wired to the console, so we are good there but maybe I will still change the batteries.

Besides that will take the steps mentioned above...

PS: actually the controller hard wired should work without batteries even...

I still drive a MINI JCW Rally car pumped up to 304hp [Mountain twisties only] as that is what I did in my Youth in Southern France for 40+ years!... I am afraid however I have to calm down as my reflexes are not what they use to be...

Just tell yourself daily "It is always a Good Day to have a Good Day"...

But, to get back to my past problem!!!

Pressing on the bottom of + on the controller shows a yellow inclined square. You press it where you want to jump and of course jump with A. That is for the long jump I could not do! Basically it is jumping step by step... It is not that much different from
"Gears 5" which I also like and yet took hours and that video mentioned above to finally find the solution because "I know" there is always a solution...
