Halo 5 HWC Promo Req Pack

I watched the HWC finals on Twitch on my Xbox One (linked to my gamertag) and did not receive the pack. Checking the forums today, I see that it was put on the xbox store for anyone to download and they didn't even have to watch the stream? Pretty frustrated
that the way to get the pack wasn't more specific up front. Please help on getting the promo pack. I did exactly what the press release told me to do.

Voices HALO 5 REQ pack_Mixpot

I saw the HWC, and I haven´t received the Voices HALO 5 REQ pack.

What's did happen?

hello xbox workers ... I need your help, about two weeks ago I saw the strat of HWC, and I haven't got the req pack war voices for halo 5.

The pack should be available in Xbox Store but limited time only. It is available from 7 p.m. ET on 3/20 to 12 p.m. on 3/21.

To get it, just go to the Xbox store on your console, type Halo 5 Guardians, it's at the bottom for free. If it is not showing up, you might have missed the time window.

 

I've looked throughout the store and can't find it. I just don't understand why they didn't say this in the stream or before the event? Is it possible to get the pack since I did what was required?

is ridiculous and wrong. All primatial material prior and during the stream just said that you had to watch and receive the pack. Only after the stream did they say via twitter that you had to go to the store to get it. Uggghhhhg help us Microsoft!

 

I watched the HCS Finals multiple times on my Xbox One using XLEi. I never received my REQ pack and Xbox Support has instructed me to post here to get it resolved. My gamertag is GS37 as shown here.

yeah this is definitely such a weird promotion. especially since people didn't even have to watch it to get the exclusive (for watching event) pack. I hope they do something about this. Thanks for all the posts on my thread!

I merged a couple threads together for better visibility. As mentioned in this thread, in order to receive the Halo World Championship 2016 content, you would have needed to download through the Xbox Store by 12:00 PM on 3/21/16.

Sincere apologies for any frustration this may have caused.

 

Since that was not communicated anywhere, we should be given the REQ as we truly believed we were taking the right actions to receive it. Never did they mention downloading anything during the stream. I'll paste the official announcement below which makes
no mention of downloading anything. Xbox failed to communicate the details of the promotion correctly and now they need to make it right.
