I have had a thought that when the Librarian scanned Chief it created a record of him, just like there were records of humans used as Prometheans... Now... Remember the Prometheans had a blue light (the visor colour of the new character) that changed to
orange?

Also remember Glassman and Halsey had access to Promethean tech... Maybe ONI with Glassman's help, could have found MC's copy and recreated him as a Promethean and put him in Spartan armour? Could explain the mirroring?

It's a bit out there... And most likely wrong... But it was just a thought as I said.

 

I like your thought process, Xeno. Considering your point about the blue visor, I would much prefer to see a "copied" Chief than the other regular blue-visors; ODST's.

I like my ODST's as they are; re-assembled Firefly cast members.

 

i can see where that would go means ud go against another spartan like i said as long as they dont kill MC off then im happy

 

I could see the "copied" MC working for the UNSC... He goes to get Halsey, who then escapes from Jul 'Mdama... Then as the Didact is most likely still alive, he could get control of the Promethean Chief (being assisted by Jul) and turn him against the UNSC
and OG MC... You'd essentially have to fight yourself...

Ahh, it's fun to let the imagination go sometimes...

 

What if,this new unknown character is us.I know ,i already wrote that.But this is maybe the Spartan we played who's from the Crimson unit....After,Requiem event,UNSC promote us,we're send on a new unknow Spartan program lead by ONI....Or maybe the young
Spartan (don't remember his name) from Majestic....

Another tought,i found the blue visor weird......Like something not human.

That Spartan was Thorne... And I believe he'll have a role to play for sure, but I don't think it will be him, as the mystery Spartan has been said to be a new character...

The point you made about the blue visor being weird... Not human... Was my feeling as well, hence my Promethean train of thought...

 

Promethean + ONI = Big trouble.Especially if they create a new breed of Spartan....

 

@ Hazuki Tiger =That's an interesting point. As advanced and benevolent as the Forerunners were, they still saw fit to construct 9 superweapons and condemn a galaxy.

Who knows what the Librarian's meddling did to Chief?

I'm thinking that too, and the image we had of him from the E3 trailer last year shows him looking pretty beaten, damaged visor and helmet etc, maybe he has a run in with this new Spartan, that could well be him, or a darker version of him.

In reading some the hype for Halo. IF they released a Halo Anthology (Salivating) complete with Halo Combat Evolved including all it's WONDERFUL glitches, (Anniversary was a joke) H2, H3, and H4 (Must have all of Sp Ops Playable offline) Then I could see
placing an X1 alongside my 360.

Blu-Ray game disks could possibly have the space necessary for all 4 games on one disk. If not, downloads of the rest (XBL Gold and Silver) could be utilized to fill the void.

Yet, I don't think they'll do it. No, I suspect they'll just sell them one at a time for profits sake.

Oh, well. It was good to dream, if only for a moment!

About the remakes,i wonder if each will have their own (old) multiplayers or if they will create one new multiplayers with all weapons,maps,game modes,.....Would be cool.

 

I know the article has been around a while now but people seem to think there's more truth to it ( not sure why ) now it's finally appeared on OXM.

I'm very curious what the plan is for the remakes of Halo. There is so much speculation and I got a feeling that unless they say its a $60 1 disc collection, people are going to whine like crazy.

I remember months ago hearing a rumor that they were doing this but I was under the impression it would be a every few months releases leading up to Halo 5. Which would be $40-$50 a pop. I rather have a nice simple collection disc, so we'll see soon.

As for Halo 5, I'll play & enjoy it no matter what, but I hope the levels are on such a huge scale it'll bring me back to the first time I played Halo 1s many stages, where my jaw dropped on how open the game was. If they can push the genre further with
massive battle areas.

 

^^ A Halo RPG would be awesome. Huge open world, co-op, traditional MP and RPG elements would be awesome. I know Im dreaming.
