    I thought it was pretty cheesy to be honest BUT I think Halo in general is just cheesy now sadly...

    Spartans with dumb armour colours just annoys me, they're military hardware not power rangers, why is my teammate bright purple with orange polka dots or some crap? Halo 5: Guardians opening cinematic ;)

    I'm also not a fan of how they portrayed the covenant, the trailers in which they're shown as a proper fearsome force are much cooler, the Halo 5 cinematic made them look like a laughing stock.

    But it's only several minor things that trouble me haha, overall the beta was fun and I'm sure it'll be pretty good. Been a Halo fan for many years and I'd say they've at least treated the franchise with the respect it deserves.

    @Seriously Scott: Those were not the Covenant of old; those were the Storm Covenant, a splinter faction much less powerful than the original alliance. Of course they're going to be less fearsome, but Fireteam Osiris attacked them from behind, which created
    a whole lot of confusion.

    I just don't get why a futuristic super solider would be bright orange or purple or whatever... But like I said, only a minor annoyance. I think I can live with it haha Halo 5: Guardians opening cinematic ;)

    That's only in Free For All. Besides, it was like that since Halo 3. Spartan models in Halo 3 look like action figures.

    @Lei Fang: You play as your own custom Spartan. The player character didn't actually have an identity, they were just branded as part of Fireteam Crimson. I mean, as the customization of the Spartan which you use in Spartan Ops is entirely up to the player,
    with no lines spoken by any of Fireteam Crimson, you could say that they have even less identity than Noble Six.

    @Galactic Geek: Did your brother watch the 2014 TMNT movie recently? Because I honestly would never have made the comparison.... I mean, there isn't really any similarity between the two besides the setting.

    I just showed the clip to my brother and he said it was like watching the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles movie all over again - I couldn't help but laugh. It's a team of superheroes doing crazy things as they go down a snowy mountain... Makes me wonder
    if originality really is dead. :|

    I will admit I am overly sensitive and critical of the Halo franchise that I do come off as a little dramatic, I know this, haha.

    Did they have to make Locke remind me of Johnson though? I automatically have a little soft spot for him. Chief and Locke will team up in the end, calling it now, haha.
