Love it. Best cimematic i've seen since the Halo Wars cutscenes!!!

And nice to see some familiar faces (Palmer & Laski)....

If only i could fight like them,i will be # 1 in Halo Warzone...

Another "can't wait" game.

 

I think that people are judging too much of the game based simply on a single cinematic. We can't always get to connect to every character in a few short moments. Besides, the rest of the game is sure to be full of rich character development.

As for unnatural movement...

They were striding/vaulting down a mountainside. What would you expect?

As for me, I am done with Halo games that involve the Master Chief. I will wait for Halo Reach anniversary, Spartan Ops 2, and ODST 2.

I doubt those will ever happen. I mean, Reach is a 360 title and doesn't deserve an anniversary edition, especially with backwards compatibility being a thing. 343i confirmed there wouldn't be a Spartan Ops season 2 over a year ago.

With the Rookie dead, Mickey in jail for becoming an insurrectionist, Buck being a Spartan-IV, and Dutch having retired to live with his wife, I'm not sure what an ODST 2 could possibly be about. New characters, I suppose? But then, I think 343i is trying
to phase out the ODSTs in favor of the Spartan-IVs.

However, since this is the Reclaimer saga, not a trilogy, I can definitely see at least a few other Halo games that focus on new characters, instead of the Chief. Halo Wars 2 is coming out next year, and there are all sorts of possibilities for different
Halo games.

I liked the video because it's just a game and games are meant to be fun.

 

I would love to see a remake of Halo Reach.

 

I will admit I am overly sensitive and critical of the Halo franchise that I do come off as a little dramatic, I know this, haha.

Did they have to make Locke remind me of Johnson though? I automatically have a little soft spot for him. Chief and Locke will team up in the end, calling it now, haha.

 

Yeah, I don't see them killing each other either. It just seems too extreme for the Halo series - and if they were to actually off the MC in favor of "that other guy" then it would probably send angry ripples throughout the Halo community that would cripple
it.

 

I just showed the clip to my brother and he said it was like watching the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles movie all over again - I couldn't help but laugh. It's a team of superheroes doing crazy things as they go down a snowy mountain... Makes me wonder
if originality really is dead. :|

 

@Lei Fang: You play as your own custom Spartan. The player character didn't actually have an identity, they were just branded as part of Fireteam Crimson. I mean, as the customization of the Spartan which you use in Spartan Ops is entirely up to the player,
with no lines spoken by any of Fireteam Crimson, you could say that they have even less identity than Noble Six.

@Galactic Geek: Did your brother watch the 2014 TMNT movie recently? Because I honestly would never have made the comparison.... I mean, there isn't really any similarity between the two besides the setting.

I wouldn't mind picking up a Halo game where you play as Spartan Locke only, but since I need to play as the Master Chief in Halo 5 Guardians I will be forced to skip it
