    Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector’s Edition Disc Exchange Program


    I contacted Microsoft over the phone to complete the Halo 5 disc exchange on 10/26/2015 and was told I'd receive my copy in 3-5 business days and it has not arrived. I contacted support over the phone again and they stated there was no service done to send
    a physical copy but I do have the email conformation here from xbox customer support. I'd like to know what's going on and how can this be resolved. Thank you.

    resolved. You should be receiving your disk within 3-5 days.

    The support page on this matter only states the Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians, but since you do have to contact official support for it you can always ask them if the code from the console is valid for this exchange as well. Just be aware
    that you will only get the disc, you won't get it in a case because the case itself is supplied in the Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians.

    Not recieving code after switching digital copy for physical copy of Halo 5 Limited Edition

    Hey August,

    The animated series was not a code that was sent out to customers who traded their Halo 5 digital codes to receive the disc, nor do we have access to additional Halo: The Fall of Reach Animated Series codes to provide. Since the Halo 5: Guardians
    Limited Collector’s Edition Disc Exchange Program ended November 1, 2015;
    we are unfortunately unable to further assist with this program.

    Sincere apologies for any frustration this may have caused.

    Unfotunately this is not something we on the Forums can assist with and you will need to contact Support to resolve this with them.

    Thank you, both of you for the support. Based on my responses from support, even though the mistake happened on their end they wont do anything about it. Guess it's time to move on.

    Fyi the reason they are doing this is because you got a prepaid to predownload it with the collectors edition rather then a disk

    The limited edition is a disk copy vs the collectors was a code with physical items like the guardian etc
