    Halo 5 Guardians CTF Playlist and needed 1 Flag CTF Rule Variant.


    343 industries has created Halo 4 and Halo 5.

    Halo 5 Guardians is the only game by 343 industries that does not have a dedicated playlist for CTF and 1 Flag CTF.

    I would like to propose to 343 to make a seperate playlist and also create a rule variant for 1 flag CTF that enables to switch sides without the need of having to do so manually. Gamers like myself who loves CTF game types would prefer to have the same
    set up CTF and one flag CTF much like Halo 4 does. There is a playlist in war-games that's seperate. I loved this idea, however was taken away on Halo 5 Guardians.

    I would like to know why.

    Will different CTF game types be coming? Tried searching but couldn't find an answer. Really enjoyed the different types of options in Reach when there was a dedicated playlist. I liked speedflag and 1 flag ctf the best.

    Minor Forge Issues, any Advice???

    Capture plates are not necessary for CTF. In Forge, load the map and make sure the gametype is NOT basic editing. It needs to be whatever CTF variant you're adjusting the map for. You need at least 2 flag stands (one for each base, if it's multiflag or one
    flag). Then you must edit the properties of them. Go into the "Advanced" settings and change their profile to "CTF_FLAG_RETURN".

    While not perfect... atleast this version of CTF is better than the previous versions..

    Cod4 = No CTF... Mr. Bowling said the maps and gametype were "not designed" for CTF (BS)

    MW2 = Flag Relay CTF.. worse CTF ever made.. poor flag locations... just awful

    MW3=Almost like Treyarch's CTF... except for KILL TARGET Icon on flag stealers (supposely to help campers find the flag?).. Still a great leap from the previous 2 games...

    And before someone chimes in and says Blitz is the same it is not.... CTF you had to grab the enemy flag and take it BACK to your base... which required tactics.... not just run into an enemy Base and instantly ZONE away..
