Halo 5 gold trial didnt work

i bought halo5 last night and today i redeemed the code for the 14 day trial after redeeming it. Hours after redeeming i still havent received it and when i try to do it again its alreadyy been redeemed i would really like to receive the 14 day trial i redeemede.
And no i did not have a gold membership.

Xbox live gold Halo 5 14 day code.

Hey, I have bought Halo 5 and in the game there is a tab that say Xbox Live Gold Code. When I click it it redirects me to a site where there is no code. Here is the site:

Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

If you have the gold trial you cant play madden online or other features. Xbox actually requires you to have the real gold and not just the trial to access some of its gold features. Its complete bs but i found this out last month when i tried playing madden 18 online with my 7 day trial. It didnt work until i spent 9.99 on a 1 month real gold woth a credit card. Good luck

You don't get anything when redeeming a 14 day trial.

Once you redeem it you get to try some of the features that having a full gold subscription would give you like playing multiplayer etc. although not all games will let you play online with a trial.

Im trying to buy halo 5 with the gold deal but when im about to buy it, the price is as if i didnt have gold

A trial is a trial. Most trials are specific to the game they came with. They do not offer full access to Gold features which includes Gold only games or trials. In the case of the Halo 4 trial card, this means you will be able to access online multiplayer
for Halo 4 only.

You should read the find print on the back of the trial card.

The code in Halo 4 does not give you full Gold access. It only gives you the ability to do multiplayer games, but not the rest of Gold. It's not a full Gold trial, just a trial for playing Halo 4 online. It's extremely poorly worded, but that's the case.
