Halo 5 Crashes After Update

Yes. I'm up-to-date.

I got my console to work now and I believe the issue was a corrupted "save checkpoint". I removed my profile, power cycle, re-added my profile, and then started a new mission over my old. It works now but I'm not sure if the override of my old saved location
was the overall solution. I was too adamant to simply start over!

I have reinstalled the game 4 times, the game loads itself okay but when i try to do the 14 Gigbyte upgrade it insists I need , it gets to 85% then crashes. Waste of $600.

 

I can't even use the *** thing. How *** FRUSTSRATING, NEVER FELT SO RIPPED OFF IN ALL MY LIFE. RIP OFF BASTARDS.

 

Uninstall the game, when you install the game go offline, go to settings, network, go offline. Then when the game is finished, go online, same way, and install the updates.

 

First of all, I had the same issue with MKX back when it was released.

Are you using the internal HDD or an Extrnal HDD?

Are you using WiFi or Ethernet connection to connect to Xbox Live?

What is you're DNS setting?

Have you tried the manual DSN 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. setting yet?

Hi All,

This may be an issue where the game is crashing loading a checkpoint. Try doing the hard reset as stated above. Then after the console boots backup, instead of resuming at the checkpoint, try starting the mission over to see if it resolves the issue.

Here is the fix that worked for me:

I restarted the mission, I lost my progress but it worked for me, no issues so far since then.

 

I did has Hydro Skillet suggested. I did a hard restart again but restarted the mission. Everything is working normal again.

 

Same here. After HALO update all new save games that are based on an old save game (before the update) always crashes or if you load an old save game and then die.

I hope 343i fix this asap, because i am playing on legendary and don't have any time to repeat the whole mission.

 

Same issues for me, updated halo 5 last night, trying to finish Genesis, after I die and level restarts, it dies after count down. If I load the mission, I can play, but when I get to spot where you fight the boss and when I die, back in the same state
where game crashes on restart.

 

I have the same issue, I updated the game today and played it for about an hour and when I try to resume the game it kicks me out to the main dashboard, please fix it I'm on leve 14.

 

Same for me. Any official fix for this?
